The Fourth Law (TFL) is an autonomous robotics company focused on solving massively scalable autonomy for defensive FPV drones. The company has offices in the US, the EU, and Ukraine and is on a mission to increase the defensive capabilities of the Free World. Its name is a reference to Isaac Asimov’s three laws of robotics and the search for an enigmatic Fourth Law. The role We’re looking for a Project Manager to help drive execution for our Core Systems product team—the group building the foundational components that make our autonomy stack reliable, scalable, and deployable (e.g., runtime/platform building blocks, integration layers, test & validation tooling, release processes, and cross-team technical coordination).
You’ll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations: keeping priorities clear, dependencies unblocked, and delivery predictable—without adding bureaucracy. Key ResponsibilitiesExecution & delivery * Own planning and delivery rhythms for the Core Systems team (weekly execution, sprint/iteration planning, release coordination). * Translate goals into clear scopes, milestones, and deliverables; keep plans up to date as reality changes. * Run project tracking: status, risks, owners, timelines, and trade-offs; drive decisions when priorities conflict.
Cross-functional coordination * Coordinate dependencies across teams (CV/ML, embedded, hardware, ops, QA/testing, manufacturing integration as needed). * Align technical leaders on interfaces, integration points, and “definition of done.” * Ensure smooth handoffs between R&D → integration → deployment and support.
Process & operational excellence * Improve internal processes and tooling (issue tracking, documentation standards, decision logs, meeting hygiene). * Build visibility for leadership: concise updates, plan-fact analysis, bottleneck diagnosis, and actionable asks. * Support incident/bug triage workflows and help drive root-cause follow-ups when core systems issues impact releases.
Quality, validation & readiness * Help define and maintain release checklists, regression gates, and validation milestones (simulation + real-world testing). * Drive alignment on metrics for reliability and performance (latency, stability, crash rates, test coverage where applicable).
Required Skills & Experience * 3+ years experience in project/program management in a technical environment (software, robotics, embedded, systems engineering). * Demonstrated ability to run complex cross-team projects with multiple dependencies and fast-changing requirements. * Strong technical literacy: comfortable working with engineers, reading specs, and asking the right questions (no need to be a coder, but you must speak the language). * Excellent planning and communication skills: clear updates, crisp docs, and strong follow-through. * Hands-on with modern tools (Jira/Linear, Confluence/Notion, Slack, Google Workspace). * Working English required (Ukrainian is a strong plus).
Nice to Have * Experience in robotics, autonomy, aerospace, defense, or other real-time systems. * Familiarity with release engineering, CI/CD, testing frameworks, or simulation-driven validation. * Background in systems integration (hardware + software) and field feedback loops. * Strong intuition for “lightweight process” in high-velocity teams.
We Offer * Self-development and assistance. * Market salary. * Flexible/hybrid working hours. * 24 paid days off per year + 14 additional days off for veterans
