Why This Role Exists Impactable currently runs on an inbound-only sales model with no dedicated owner of the marketing engine (paid, organic, web) and no one driving outbound pipeline or pricing confidence. This role combines both gaps into one function: build and own the demand generation engine, and build the outbound/business development motion that gets the company pricing and positioning itself as a premium provider rather than under-selling its capabilities.
This is a build-and-own role, not a caretaker role — the person will be establishing the marketing motion and BD process largely from scratch. What You’ll Own Marketing Engine (Demand Generation) * Own paid, organic, and web strategy end-to-end * Build efficient, repeatable pipeline generation to support the current inbound sales model * Coordinate with channel teams (LinkedIn, Paid Search, Programmatic, Content) to align marketing output with sales-ready pipeline needs * Partner with the content team (including the DemandSense “brand engine” initiative) to ensure marketing assets and thought leadership support both channels
Business Development & Outbound * Design and stand up an outbound motion targeting high-tier accounts * Work closely with Faith (inbound sales) and pod leaders to ensure consistent, confident positioning and pricing across all deals * Support a more premium go-to-market posture — pricing and packaging that reflects Impactable’s actual capabilities * Conduct or support post-mortems on lost opportunities to continuously sharpen sales + marketing tactics
Cross-Functional * Act as the connective tissue between marketing output and sales/BD execution — no more silos between “who generates the lead” and “who closes it” * Report on pipeline health and channel performance to leadership
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months) * A functioning, documented marketing engine with clear channel ownership * A first version of an outbound motion targeting named high-tier accounts * Measurable improvement in pipeline consistency for the inbound sales team * Visible reduction in ad-hoc/unapproved pricing exceptions
Who You Are * 5+ years in a marketing leadership role, ideally with direct exposure to sales/BD or a hybrid marketing-and-sales function * Comfortable owning both strategy and hands-on execution — this is not a purely strategic seat * Experience building demand gen from a limited or immature base (not just optimizing an existing machine) * Strong instincts around B2B pricing, positioning, and sales psychology — someone who can help the team sell with confidence * Actively experimenting with AI and automation in marketing and growth workflows — this is a hands-on requirement, not a nice-to-have. Impactable is already AI-heavy operationally, and this person needs to fit that culture from day one * Based in Ukraine, able to work substantially overlapping with a US-aligned schedule
Nice to Have * Familiarity with LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, or B2B agency environments * Experience being the first marketing/BD hire at a company, or working as a fractional marketing/BD lead across multiple clients * Experience building or deploying AI agents/automations for marketing, lead gen, or sales workflows
