An international company is looking for an experienced financial specialist/accountant for a project with a foreign client.
It is a German consulting firm that provides comprehensive accounting and financial services to various businesses in Germany, such as restaurants, auto repair shops, rental companies, and others.

Main Responsibilities: * German Client Communication: Maintaining active written and spoken communication with the German client. * Invoice & Document Verification: Checking invoices, receipts, and supporting documents. * Accounts Receivable & Payable: Managing and monitoring AR/AP balances. * Chart of Accounts: Working with the German chart of accounts (Kontenrahmen). * Payment Control: Verifying payments, disbursements, and handling daily bank reconciliations. * Reporting & Closing: Maintaining ongoing financial reporting, preparing financial statements, and participating in month-end closing. * Budgeting & Data Analysis: Working with budgets, forecasts, and large volumes of data in Excel. * Audit & Documentation: Maintaining documentation and assisting with audit preparation.
Requirements: * At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance. * Proficiency in Excel — working with formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets. * German — intermediate level (spoken and written). * Attention to detail, responsibility, and willingness to perform repetitive/monotonous tasks. * Residence in Ukraine (remote position, but preference given to candidates from Ukraine).
