Ciklum is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role: As a Senior Product Designer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities: * Take ownership. Feeling and acting as if you are the co-owner of the project is what makes all the difference. Go ahead and take the initiative, the responsibility, go further than the surface, — and share the success of the product * Gather data, analyze, consult. Asking the right questions, understanding the true reasons that lie behind the problem, facilitate workshops, and conduct user research * Produce design artifacts. Shape your knowledge into materials that will underpin your solutions in front of the client and the project team. This could be screen maps, personas, customer journey maps, wireframes and everything which you believe is relevant and needed * Visualize your solutions with clean & clear appealing UI designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas * Communicate. Show strong communication and collaboration skills, adaptability, empathy for users, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning, all of which are crucial for presenting and advocating for user-centric design solutions within cross-functional teams * Collaborate. We appreciate sharing thoughts, concerns, feedback and advice because it polishes our solutions. Whether it is a regular demo call with the client, a casual brainstorm with fellow designers or research with the developer — use it to make your product consistent and technically realistic * Take part in pre-sales. Apart from the mere creation of budget & timing estimation, this is your first contact with a potential client. It is when you can demonstrate that you understand their problem, know how to solve it, and are capable to do so. As a result, you may get to be the one who solves yet another interesting puzzle * Optimize processes. In our workflow between the design and the development team we follow the agile process. Have ideas on how to improve it? Great! Go ahead, move things around if you know that it is bound to benefit both sides and bring maximum effect * Mentor, inspire. You’ll have the advantage of inspiring your team, sharing your experience and mentoring junior consultants in their skills and projects * Stay curious and hungry. It is crucial that you stay abreast of trends in design, technology and user experience. Share what you know and make an impact
Requirements: * 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX, with deep understanding of methodologies and processes, including user research, user flows, wire-framing, prototyping, and usability testing * Proficiency in using Figma design software to create visually appealing UI designs * Strong understanding and experience with design systems, ensuring consistency across designs and scalability * Ability to interpret wireframes and transform them into high-fidelity screens that embody the desired user experience * Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams, including product managers, developers and other designers * Fluent spoken and written English — you should be able to elicit project details, run workshops and clearly articulate your design decisions * Experience with Product discovery * Have a natural ability to receive and incorporate feedback effectively, allowing you to improve and refine your designs with each iteration
Desirable: * Experience in domains: BFSI, Crypto, Retail, iGaming * Focus on SaaS, B2B Enterprise systems, B2C * Platforms: Web, mobile, IoT * A big fan of AI and leverage it on a daily basis * Experience in workshops * Experience in pre-sale activities * Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with developers
Personal skills: * Has sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with customers and * colleagues * Collaborates in a team effectively * Is able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons * Demonstrates a rational and organized approach to work * Understands and uses appropriate methods, tools and applications.
