This is not a typical UI-focused testing role. You will be working deep under the hood with financial transactions, reporting systems, high-volume event ingestion, and complex integrations. Specifically, you will own the quality assurance for our modular gamification and engagement platform, alongside our core Player Account Management (PAM) system.
What You Will Do: * Workflow&Functional Testing: Test complex business workflows, including event ingestion pipelines, composable rules engines, and campaign management states. * Data & Calculation Validation: Validate financial calculations, such as cumulative points metrics, ensuring absolute accuracy in the Points Ledger. * System Integration: Verify data consistency across multiple independent systems, including RGS event streams, PAM wallet/bonus integrations, and third-party provider APIs. * Compliance&Edge Cases: Ensure crucial compliance gates, such as real-time Self Exclusion and Responsible Gaming checks, immediately halt event processing and opt-ins for restricted players. * Lifecycle Quality: Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across all product layers.
Main Requirements: * Experience: 3+ years of experience in Manual QA, ideally within back-end or data-intensive workflows. * Database Mastery: Strong SQL skills and high confidence working with complex databases (this is a strict must-have). * API Expertise: Extensive experience testing APIs, webhooks, and complex microservice integrations. * Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate issues independently. * Methodology: Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile development practices. * Language: At least Intermediate English proficiency.
Nice-to-Have: * Industry Knowledge: Experience in iGaming, Sportsbook, Casino, Payments, FinTech, or other transaction-heavy products. * Architecture: Experience working with microservices architectures and asynchronous event-driven pipelines (e.g., message brokers). * Observability: Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools like Sentry, Grafana, and Prometheus. * Test Automation: Basic automation testing knowledge to help scale our testing efforts as the platform grows.
