The Role: The project is an established health & wellness / telemedicine platform helping people manage weight and improve their lifestyle through personalized nutrition guidance, provider consultations, and supplement recommendations. The platform includes both patient portals and partner-provider dashboards, built on WordPress.
Requirements: * 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development. * Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Experience building custom themes and plugins. * Understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and REST API. * Hands-on experience with WooCommerce. * Ability to customize checkout flows, product pages, and payment integrations. * Experience with performance optimization and handling large product catalogs. * Experience integrating Google Analytics (including GA4) and Google Search Console. * Experience with Attentive (or similar marketing automation tools) is a plus. * Experience integrating Stripe payments. * Strong understanding of SEO best practices. * Comfortable working independently and interpreting visual references/assets without formal design mockups. * At least Upper-Intermediate English; fluent in Ukrainian.
Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and enhance an existing WordPress platform serving both patients and partner providers. * Integrate third-party API snippets and services without disrupting existing functionality. * Customize and extend WooCommerce features, including checkout flows and payment integrations. * Configure and maintain Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and marketing automation tools. * Implement visual and layout updates based on provided design assets and references. * Apply performance optimization best practices across pages and product catalogs. * Collaborate closely with the PM and a technical consultant to align on scope and priorities.
