Relevant Software welcomes a proactive Business Analyst / Project Manager with an understanding of technical aspects of development to join our innovative team working on smart metering solutions.
You will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, creating all needed documentation for the dev team, closer communication with the team and stakeholders. You will conduct and coordinate internal team meetings and activities to keep the team productive and ensure requirements meet client expectations.
About the project:
The German international company has been on the market for 15 years and focuses on smart meters with integrated sensors, enabling autonomous data transmission, including voltage sensors that provide consumption recommendations. The ongoing project aims to create a smart controller for these meters that provides customized data, tailored to user access levels, for inspectors and users.

Responsibilities: * Actively engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, address challenges, manage expectations, timelines, and feedback. * Coordinate delivery activities across the project, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage team workload, track dependencies, and ensure external prerequisites (requirements, environments, deployments, access, and stakeholder decisions) are in place for the team to deliver efficiently. * Facilitate clear communication across stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimize risks. * Coordinate cross-team dependencies and project readiness, ensuring the development team has timely access to all required environments, deployments, requirements, decisions, and other external inputs needed to maintain delivery flow. * Proactively identify delivery risks, resolve organizational blockers, and communicate project impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders before they affect delivery. * Own project coordination activities, ensuring operational and process-related issues are resolved through stakeholder communication whenever possible, allowing the engineering team to stay focused on delivery. * Gathering, describing requirements (with tech lead), and developing Requirements documents (Defining User Stories, Epics, Use Cases, including API specifications, Data schemas, and Mappings, flows description). * Overseeing product backlog, planning, and prioritizing features based on stakeholder input, business goals, and technical feasibility. * Conducting estimation sessions with the team, managing changes, and planning and executing Releases in alignment with the customer’s Release plan.
Requirements: * 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst. * Working closely with the dev team, tech leads on requirements. Experience in writing technical requirements will be a plus, be able to manage and lead a product team, conduct Sprint activities, and define and maintain process. * Experience working with APIs, reading JSON, and describing request/response structures is a must. * Ability to read common file formats (CSV, XML, Excel, etc) and describe their structure and properties. * Proven end-to-end project lifecycle experience (from project initiation to release and support). * Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing requirements based on business value and technical constraints. * Strong experience in writing product specifications and functional documentation. * Knowledge of development, integration, and support processes for the solutions. * Solid understanding of SDLC and software delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid). * Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project dependencies across multiple stakeholders. * Ability to proactively identify and manage delivery risks, remove organizational blockers, and maintain project delivery flow. * Experience working directly with external customers, balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and delivery commitments. * Ability to coordinate release readiness, environment availability, and cross-team communication to support uninterrupted delivery. * An analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in environments with high uncertainty. * Advanced English (C1 or higher), both written and spoken. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels of the organization. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges. * Knowledge of BPMN and UML modeling (nice to have). * Hands-on experience using AI tools for streamlining business analysis, technical specification writing, and process automation. * Ability to travel internationally for individual client meetings.
