About the position
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to support our growth by identifying new opportunities and starting conversations with potential clients.
Your main responsibility is to generate leads, reach out to prospects, and qualify their needs before passing them to the sales team. This role is focused on outreach and early-stage communication.
GrowerAdviser is an AI-driven platform that helps greenhouse producers improve yield, optimize climate decisions, and reduce costs. We work with growers globally, combining data, automation, and plant insights to drive measurable results.
Must have skills: * Strong written and spoken English communication skills * Ability to confidently initiate conversations and build relationships with decision-makers * 1+ year of experience in lead generation, B2B sales, SDR, marketing, or customer-facing roles * Structured, analytical thinking with strong organizational skills * Proactive, results-oriented mindset with ownership of pipeline performance * Comfortable using CRM systems (HubSpot or similar) and AI tools (ChatGPT or equivalent) for research and content creation * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment * Background in AgriTech, greenhouse technologies, or AI-driven solutions * Interest in agriculture, sustainability, and innovation in controlled-environment production
Your tasks will include: * Identify and research potential clients, including greenhouse growers, technology partners, and agri-business stakeholders * Build, manage, and continuously develop a qualified prospect pipeline * Explore and validate new outreach channels, databases, and enrichment tools to improve lead quality and scalability * Design and execute targeted multi-step outreach campaigns supported by measurable use cases and performance indicators * Initiate contact via LinkedIn, email, and other relevant channels * Personalize communication based on each prospect’s operations, challenges, and business goals. Generate interest in GrowerAdviser’s AI-driven solutions * Conduct initial discovery calls independently to assess needs, challenges, and strategic fit * Qualify opportunities and guide prospects toward the next step in the sales process * Involve a technical specialist in early-stage calls when deeper expertise is required * Maintain structured follow-ups and nurture leads until successful handover to sales * Collaborate closely with Sales, Business Development, and Product teams to strengthen and scale the qualified pipeline * Schedule and coordinate calls, meetings, product demonstrations, and grower discussions * Support industry exhibitions, strategic meetings, and partner engagements when needed * Maintain CRM hygiene (HubSpot): update lead status, engagement notes, and lead scoring * Track and analyze key performance metrics (list-to-call, meeting-to-deal conversion, response rates, etc.) * Deliver structured weekly performance reports with insights and optimization recommendations
