Requirements: * 5+ years of professional experience in backend development * Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core * Strong SQL Skills: Deep knowledge of SQL Server, including complex querying, performance optimization, and robust schema design. * AI Integration Experience: Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into applications. * Direct experience with prompt engineering using Azure OpenAI, language models (GPT), and NLP concepts is a major plus. * Security-First Mindset: A strong understanding of security principles and experience building systems that handle sensitive data. * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is highly desirable. * Problem-Solving & Ownership: A proactive and pragmatic approach to solving complex technical challenges, with a high degree of ownership and accountability. * English — Upper-Intermediate (speaking and writing) and fluency Ukrainian.
What You’ll Do * Architect & Build: Design, develop, and own the core backend services and Web APIs using .NET, C#, and Azure. You’ll build the engine that drives our real-time conversational AI and secure EHR integrations. * Lead AI Integration: Implement and optimize the end-to-end AI workflow, from speech-to-text processing with Azure AI Speech/Whisper to sophisticated NLP tasks like intent extraction and summarization using Azure OpenAI. * Security & Compliance: Engineer a robust, HIPAA-compliant platform. You will implement best practices for data security, including role-based access control (RBAC), data minimization, and secure API design. * Own the Full Lifecycle: Take features from concept to deployment. You will write clean, testable code, contribute to our CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, and ensure the performance and resilience of our systems in production. * Integrate & Collaborate: Work closely with front-end developers and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. You will also integrate essential third-party services for communications (Twilio) and email (Postmark).
