Ciklum is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the project focused on the development and operation of a scalable cloud-native platform on AWS, designed to support enterprise-grade applications with high availability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities: * Cloud Foundation: A deep, practical understanding of a major cloud provider, with AWS expertise being essential. This includes provisioning, managing, and securing core cloud resources * Kubernetes and EKS Mastery: You should be an expert in Kubernetes, with specific experience in managing Amazon EKS clusters at scale. This goes beyond basic operations to include cluster architecture, high availability, and performance tuning * CI/CD and GitOps: You should be a master of modern GitOps principles and toolsets. This includes using Terraform and Terragrunt to write declarative, modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and leveraging Atlantis to manage pull request-based workflows * Application Delivery: Your skills must extend to the application layer. You’ll need to write and maintain Helm charts for deploying complex applications and have a deep understanding of Docker and containerization principles * Networking & Service Mesh: A strong grasp of networking is required, with specific experience in managing and securing traffic via Istio gateways * Observability: You must know how to build and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging systems. Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions is a must * Secrets Management: You need a solid understanding of secrets management, with good experience in both HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager (AWS SM)
Requirements: * 5+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant AWS experience * Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AWS solutions * Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and architect robust solutions * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty) * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Desirable: * Cloud: Deep knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and design patterns * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced skills in CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools * Programming and Scripting: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js) * Containerization and Microservices: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures * Complex Configuration Management: Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.) * Robust Networking: In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPC design, hybrid cloud architectures, and network security * Security Focus: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, penetration testing, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
