Job Description We are seeking an experienced and analytically-minded Slot Mathematician to become a key figure in our slot game development team. This professional will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing mathematical models for our slot projects in both Social Casino and RMG directions. Responsibilities * Analyze and evaluate mathematical models of slot games for both Social Casino and RMG projects. * Review and validate mathematical calculations created by the development team, ensuring their compliance with quality standards and market requirements. * Provide expert recommendations on adjusting RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and bonus mechanics to achieve optimal balance. * Develop and implement intricate mathematical algorithms governing game mechanics when required (not primary responsibility but valued capability). * Conduct competitive analysis of mathematical models of successful slot games in the market and provide insights for improving our products. * Track and analyze trends in Social Casino and RMG markets, providing strategic recommendations for mathematical model development. * Evaluate the effectiveness of existing games through mathematical indicators and propose optimization paths. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mathematical solutions into gameplay. * Monitor adherence to mathematical standards at all stages of slot game development.
Requirements * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. * Mandatory experience working in both directions: Social Casino and RMG (iGaming). * Deep understanding of market trends and evolution in both the Social Casino and RMG sectors. * Expert knowledge of probability theory, statistics, and their application to gaming mechanics. * Experience in analyzing and evaluating mathematical models of video slots: RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and bonus structures. * Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and report creation. * Ability to recognize and evaluate quality balance in slot games. * High-level English proficiency (written and spoken). * Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication abilities for working with technical and non-technical teams. * Passion for the gaming industry and desire to create innovative gaming solutions.
Nice to have * Knowledge of regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions (MGA, UKGC, etc.). * Programming skills (Python, NumPy, pandas, SciPy) for creating simulations and data analysis. * Experience with data visualization tools. * Knowledge of game design principles and player psychology. * Previous experience in managing or mentoring junior mathematicians. * Familiarity with modern trends in the slot industry (Megaways, Buy Bonus, etc.). * Experience in managing or mentoring junior professionals.
