We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join an international project and strengthen the team working on a scalable backend platform.
In this role, you will focus on backend development using Node.js, designing scalable services, APIs, and integrations. You will work closely with the client on a daily basis, participate in product discussions, and help deliver scalable and high-quality solutions. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js. * Build and optimize scalable REST APIs and backend integrations. * Design backend architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. * Integrate third-party APIs and external services. * Collaborate closely with the client and internal team on a daily basis. * Participate in product discussions and help define technical solutions and architecture. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. * Take ownership of features from development through deployment and production support. * Actively use AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality. * Adapt to changing requirements in a dynamic environment.
Requirements * 5+ years of commercial software development experience. * Strong commercial experience with Node.js and backend application development. * Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. * Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs. * Solid understanding of backend architecture, scalability, security, and best practices. * Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services. * Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows. * Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients. * Proactive, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environments. * Experience using AI tools in day-to-day development. * English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
