Junior Business Development Manager Some people enjoy building software.
Others enjoy understanding why businesses buy it.
If you’re finishing a technical degree or already have a software engineering background but find yourself more interested in people, business, and strategy than writing code every day — this role might be exactly what you’re looking for.
At MintyMint, we build custom software solutions for companies across Europe and the US. As our Business Development team grows, we’re looking for someone who wants to learn how technology partnerships are built, how software services are sold, and what it takes to turn a first conversation into a long-term client relationship.
You won’t be expected to know sales from day one.
You will be expected to ask questions, learn quickly, take initiative, and genuinely care about understanding both technology and business. What you’ll do * Research companies, markets, and potential partnership opportunities * Learn how software development companies identify and approach prospective clients * Support outbound business development activities across European markets * Participate in client meetings, discovery calls, and commercial discussions alongside experienced team members * Attend conferences, networking events, and industry meetups * Work closely with engineers, project managers, and company leadership to understand how client needs translate into software solutions * Gradually take ownership of your own business development activities and client interactions
We’d love to meet you if you * Have a technical background or education (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or similar) * Are curious about how technology businesses grow * Enjoy communicating with people and building relationships * Speak English confidently (B2+) * Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions * Are ambitious about your professional growth and open to stepping outside your comfort zone
Nice to have * Participation in student organizations, hackathons, startup communities, or tech events * Experience presenting ideas, leading initiatives, or organizing projects * Any customer-facing, sales, freelance, or entrepreneurial experience
What you’ll get * A practical introduction to Business Development in the software industry * Mentorship from experienced professionals * Exposure to real client conversations and commercial processes * Opportunities to attend international conferences and networking events * Close collaboration with company leadership * A clear growth path toward a full-cycle Business Development Manager role
We’re not looking for someone who already knows everything.
We’re looking for someone who wants to learn faster than everyone else.
