About the Project & Domain We are expanding a dedicated engineering capability for a large-scale European banking technology and regulated financial-services group. The end client operates as an international technology provider, delivering secure electronic payments, hybrid-cloud infrastructure, software engineering, and group-wide technology services for a multinational network of commercial banks.
You will join an established ecosystem of 6 existing DevOps/SRE teams on a long-term engagement focused on complex infrastructure automation, security, and continuous delivery within a strictly regulated environment. The Objective & Role Overview The primary goal is to empower international project teams by enabling on-demand provisioning and decommissioning of complete MBA (Multi-Banking Architecture) environments.
Rather than focusing solely on individual application deployments, your work will cover the entire environment lifecycle. The MBA ecosystem comprises multiple interconnected components: APIs, relational databases, hybrid networking, security policies, and complex configuration dependencies. You will build and optimize automated pipelines to dramatically reduce lead times, eliminate manual operational effort, and maximize delivery agility across the group. Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and optimize automated environment provisioning and teardown workflows (IaC). * Manage and scale Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters in production and non-production environments. * Develop, maintain, and secure Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, integrated with quality and security scanning tools (SonarQube). * Implement robust identity management, secrets rotation, and role-based access control (RBAC) aligned with financial compliance standards. * Ensure high observability, logging, and monitoring across hybrid infrastructure and containerized workloads. * Collaborate seamlessly across existing DevOps/SRE teams to align on infrastructure standards, release practices, and security frameworks.
