We are looking for a strong Full-Stack Engineer who thrives in building products from scratch, confidently working across both front-end (React) and back-end (TypeScript) while designing clean architecture, modeling scalable relational data, and implementing reliable integrations with external systems. You will be collaborating closely with the product team, taking ownership of delivering high-quality features and contributing to core technical decisions in a remote-first environment. You enjoy solving complex problems, embracing modern AI-driven tooling, and building a greenfield platform that aims to transform accounting and automation within the oil & gas industry. About the project Our client is developing the first AI-native accounting platform tailored for the oil & gas industry. The platform provides real-time financial visibility and integrates seamlessly with legacy energy systems. It is being built from scratch and focuses on enabling zero-day month-end close, always audit-ready compliance, intuitive document handling, and one-day business process implementation. The MVP will include deep integrations with key oil & gas systems, support for historical data migration, and automation of revenue accounting workflows using AI. Your area of responsibility * Building a scalable and maintainable codebase from the ground up; * Designing and implementing backend APIs and frontend interfaces; * Integrating with industry-standard oil & gas systems and internal AI services; * Modeling relational data and managing complex data structures; * Leading and mentoring junior developers in best practices; * Participating in architecture planning and deployment workflows; * Collaborating with the product team to deliver and iterate on MVP functionality.
Skills and requirements * 5+ years of experience in full-stack development; * Hands-on experience with autonomous development workflows, where AI coding tools implement significant parts of the solution under the engineer’s supervision, while the engineer ensures architecture, code quality, validation, and production readiness; * Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS; * Proven experience with relational databases and data modeling, preferably PostgreSQL/Supabase; * Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment, including Docker, Railway, and GitHub workflows; * Experience working with authentication systems, such as Supabase or Azure Entra ID; * Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first team; * Upper-intermediate English level or higher.
Will be a plus * Experience in early-stage startup or greenfield development projects; * Understanding of AI tools and APIs (e.g., Gemini API, DeepEval); * Familiarity with accounting systems or finance-related applications; * Experience with E&P (Exploration & Production) software integrations or Oil & Gas tech stack; * Exposure to document processing (OCR/NLP) and automation.
