Requirements * Experience: At least 1.5 years of experience in manual and automation testing of modern web applications, with a primary focus on Java-based automation. * Automation Stack: Hands-on experience with Java-based UI automation frameworks, preferably using Selenium / Selenide. Experience with TestNG, Gradle, and browser-based test execution is required or strongly preferred. * Current Automation Environment: Experience or understanding of automation execution using Selenoid or similar tools for running tests in isolated browser environments. * Future Automation Development: Willingness and motivation to grow into Playwright with TypeScript, as the team plans to gradually develop and expand automation coverage using this stack. * UI Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of UI/UX testing principles, cross-browser testing, responsive testing, and validation of complex user flows. * CI/CD & Build Tools: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI, TeamCity, or similar. Good understanding of Gradle-based test execution. * Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, regression testing, smoke testing, exploratory testing, and end-to-end testing. * Test Case Development: Experience creating and maintaining effective test cases, checklists, and automated UI test scenarios. Familiarity with TestRail or similar test management tools. * Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and understanding of modern frontend application architecture. * Communication Skills: Good written English for collaboration within the team. * Monitoring & Debugging: Experience using browser DevTools and monitoring/logging tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Kibana, or OpenSearch for troubleshooting UI and application issues. * Version Control: Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Nice to Have * Experience with Playwright and TypeScript. * Experience with visual regression testing. * Experience testing responsive and adaptive web applications. * Basic understanding of API testing and network request validation. * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. * Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser DevTools. * Experience with Allure report
Responsibilities * Analysis & Review: Analyze requirements, user stories, UI designs, and technical documentation to define test coverage and identify potential quality risks. * Manual & Automated UI Testing: Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated UI test scenarios for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing. * Java Automation Development: Develop and maintain UI automated tests using the current Java-based automation stack: Selenide, Selenium, TestNG, Gradle, and Selenoid. * Automation Framework Support: Contribute to the improvement of the existing automation framework, focusing on stability, maintainability, scalability, and reliable test execution. * Playwright / TypeScript Growth: Gradually participate in the development of Playwright + TypeScript automation practices as part of the team’s future automation strategy. * Cross-Browser Validation: Ensure stable application behavior across different browsers, devices, and screen resolutions. * Reporting: Prepare detailed defect reports, test execution reports, and quality metrics. * CI/CD Support: Maintain and monitor automated UI test execution in CI/CD pipelines and investigate failed test runs. * Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers during sprint planning, refinements, stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Quality Assurance: Ensure high product quality through comprehensive validation of new and existing frontend functionality. * Continuous Improvement: Participate in improving QA processes, automation approaches, test coverage, and testing standards within the team.
