We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer with experience using AI-assisted development tools.
Position & client
Our client, Toromont Cat, is a Canadian industrial company that provides equipment, power systems, and support services for industries such as construction, mining, and energy. The application is built on a Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, .NET, and an MSSQL database, and is used daily by internal staff to support core business operations.
Stack of the project * Azure, ASP.NET, IIS * Angular * Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
Responsibilities * Participate in technical and product discussions and contribute to solution design * Write code and establish engineering standards and coding practices * Estimate tasks and conduct code reviews * Use AI tools to improve development productivity * Lead migration from on-premise to cloud and manage infrastructure * Refactor the existing application and decouple database operations
Requirements * 7+ years of experience with .NET / ASP.NET * Strong experience with Angular for frontend development * Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based architectures * Hands-on experience with cloud migration (on-premise → Azure) and infrastructure management * Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) * Proven experience in refactoring legacy systems and improving system design * Experience using AI-assisted development tools is a must * Upper-Intermediate English speaking level
