We are looking for a strong Senior PHP Developer (Symfony) to join a long-term, part-time project (±100–130 hours/month) in the fintech domain.
This is not a “support-only” role — you will work on core product functionality, influence architectural decisions, and directly impact how the platform evolves.
The product is a crowdfunding platform that automates lending processes and improves the investment experience. You will be involved in building key features around customer assessment, investor workflows, and internal analytics.
We are specifically looking for an engineer who is comfortable taking ownership, making technical decisions, and communicating directly with the client.

Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience as a PHP Developer in production environments — Strong hands-on experience with Symfony (preferably Symfony 7) — Solid understanding of backend architecture and system design — Experience working with MariaDB/MySQL — Experience with backend integrations — Basic frontend knowledge (Twig, HTML, CSS) — Proven experience making technical decisions and working on architecture — Experience communicating directly with clients — Upper-Intermediate+ English (daily communication required)
Responsibilities:
— Design and develop backend functionality using PHP and Symfony — Automate key business flows related to customer assessment and lending — Work on integrations that improve customer experience — Contribute to investor-related features and platform growth — Develop and enhance dashboards for sales and performance tracking — Implement product improvements and web page updates — Handle bug fixes, support tasks, and ad-hoc requests — Participate in technical discussions and collaborate closely with the client
