We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Technical Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our casino gaming portfolio. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our engineering, product, mathematical design, and art teams.
Leveraging your strong technical background, you will act as a catalyst for continuous improvement, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure we deliver high-quality, compliant, and engaging casino games faster and more efficiently
Key responsibilities:
SDLC Optimization & Process Engineering * Audit and Elevate the SDLC: Analyze current development workflows to identify inefficiencies, implementing Agile/Scrum best practices to reduce cycle times and time-to-market. * Drive Automation: Champion the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit, integration, and UI), and deployment automation to streamline game releases. * Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key delivery metrics (e.g., DORA metrics, velocity, lead time, escape defect rate) to drive data-informed process improvements.
Technical Delivery & Leadership * End-to-End Ownership: Manage the delivery pipeline for multiple casino game titles simultaneously, from concept and math model integration to certification and production rollout. * Technical Problem Solving: Act as a technical sounding board for engineering teams. Step in to help unblock teams on architectural, animation (Spine), or rendering (PixiJS) challenges. * Resource & Capacity Planning: Collaborate with technical leads to allocate engineering resources effectively, balancing technical debt reduction with new feature development.
iGaming & Compliance Management * Regulatory Alignment: Ensure the development process accommodates strict gaming compliance requirements, integrating Random Number Generator (RNG) testing and jurisdictional certifications (e.g., GLI, UKGC, MGA) into the project timeline. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Game Producers, Game Mathematicians, and Art Directors to ensure technical constraints are understood and met without compromising the player experience. * Live Ops Support: Oversee the technical delivery of game updates, patches, and seamless deployments in high-concurrency, real-money gaming environments.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: * 5+ years of experience in technical project management, delivery management, or engineering management. * Proven track record in the iGaming, social casino, or video game industry, with shipped titles under your belt. * Former Engineering Background: Previous hands-on experience as a Software Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer is highly preferred.
Technical Competencies * Game Development Stack: Deep familiarity with our core front-end rendering and animation pipeline, specifically PixiJS (Canvas/WebGL) and Spine Animation, alongside strong knowledge of modern web standards (HTML5, TypeScript/JavaScript). * Systems Architecture: Solid understanding of modern software architecture, client-server models, and high-availability systems necessary for real-money gaming. * DevOps & Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and version control (Git) to drive delivery automation. * Quality Assurance: Understanding of automated testing frameworks applicable to web-based game development and backend services.
Process & Leadership Skills * Agile Expertise: Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Asana. * Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear business impacts for non-technical stakeholders. * Stakeholder Management: Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, particularly when dealing with third-party certification labs.
