We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering / CTO to take full ownership of the technical function in an AI-driven B2B SaaS product in the iGaming space. This role goes far beyond traditional engineering leadership — you will define the technical strategy, shape architecture, and lead a high-performing team building ML/AI-powered products that directly impact client revenue and player engagement.
You will work closely with the CEO and Head of Product, translating business goals into technical execution while ensuring scalable architecture, reliable delivery, and continuous innovation across the engineering organization. Key Responsibilities Own the full technical function end-to-end: engineering strategy, architecture, delivery, infrastructure, and team development
Translate business goals and product vision into a clear and executable technical strategy
Define and maintain a 12-month technical roadmap, aligning engineering priorities with company objectives
Own and oversee the full technology stack: products, backoffice systems, and infrastructure
Ensure high engineering standards across the team: code quality, system reliability, documentation, and data accuracy
Lead and develop engineering leads, strengthening their technical judgment, ownership mindset, and leadership skills
Drive adoption of modern engineering and AI tools across the team
Collaborate closely with the CEO and Head of Product across the full product lifecycle — from idea to production
Ensure architecture scalability, security, and production stability while maintaining cost efficiency
Balance product innovation and live production system stability, enabling sustainable delivery What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, ML engineering, or related technical fields
2+ years of experience leading engineering or technical teams
Hands-on background in at least one core domain (backend, data engineering, ML, or infrastructure) with solid understanding of the others
Experience working in B2B SaaS product environments (iGaming experience is a strong plus)
Strong experience designing scalable architectures and managing production systems
Hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, containerization, CI/CD (GitLab), and Airflow
Practical understanding of ML/AI systems and data pipelines in production
Strong ownership mindset and ability to lead teams with high standards
Experience mentoring and growing senior engineers into strong technical leads
Ability to prioritize effectively in dynamic, fast-changing environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical decisions into business impact
Experience collaborating closely with non-technical stakeholders, founders, and clients Nice to Have Experience building or scaling AI-driven or personalization-based products
Experience driving AI tool adoption within engineering teams
Background in iGaming or high-scale data-driven platforms
