Reface is looking for a talented Backend Engineer to power our Marketing engine. As part of our new MarTech initiative, you will build the tools that help our apps reach millions of users worldwide. This is a hands-on role for a developer who loves Python, enjoys seeing the immediate impact of their code on business growth, and wants to learn from the best in the AI industry.
You will work closely with our User Acquisition and Design teams to automate their daily routines, create smart rules for ad management, and support the data flow between our internal services and global ad platforms. You will be supported by our main backend team, giving you plenty of room to grow your technical skills.
What you will do: * Develop Automation Tools: Write Python scripts and services to automate manual marketing tasks—specifically the “shipping” of creatives from a single file to live Ads on Facebook and TikTok. * Support Campaign Logic: Develop and support automatic rules for campaign management (e.g., “if ad spend > $50 and installs = 0, pause campaign”). * Streamline Workflows: Create different automations to reduce manual work for Designers and User Acquisition Managers, utilizing Python, n8n, and Airtable. * Integrate APIs: Connect our internal systems with the Facebook Marketing API. You will handle the creation of Campaigns, AdSets, and Ads programmatically. * Tool Maintenance: Maintain services for the deep AI analysis of creatives and market data, ensuring our marketing team always has the insights they need.
Who you are: * Backend Developer: You have solid experience with Python. You understand HTTP requests, JSON handling, and how to build reliable scripts. * Problem Solver: You possess Algorithmic Thinking—you can take a request like “automate this spreadsheet” and turn it into a working code solution step-by-step. * Code Pragmatist: You have basic JavaScript coding skills and are encouraged to use AI assistants to speed up your work—but you must deeply understand the code they generate. * MarTech Enthusiast: You are familiar with Ads Managers (terminology, basic concepts). * Team Player: You have good communication skills and enjoy tight interaction with non-technical colleagues (UA Managers, Creative Leads) to help solve their problems.
Would be a big plus: * Experience with Airtable (Automations, Scripting). * Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools. * Familiarity with Meta, TikTok Ads API. * Familiarity with BigQuery, Elastic.
