We are seeking an experienced AI Architect to join our team at one of India’s largest fintech companies. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical bridge between AI-driven design and engineering teams, translating innovative AI-powered designs into scalable, production-ready solutions.
This role focuses on architecting AI-integrated systems, particularly Voice AI features, while ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. It is ideal for someone skilled in guiding cross-functional teams, making high-level architectural decisions for large-scale fintech applications, and delivering solutions that meet stringent compliance and performance requirements in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Requirements: * Over 10 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI/ML technologies in recent years * Deep knowledge of Python for AI/backend integration and development * Expertise in Voice AI solutions and conversational AI architectures * Strong proficiency with Azure cloud services and AI services (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, etc.) * Strong understanding of architectural patterns for AI-integrated systems * Proven track record of designing high-scale solutions that balance innovation with feasibility and compliance * Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and stakeholders * Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at a strong B2-C1 level * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * Willingness and ability to travel to India for approximately 2 weeks on business
Would be a plus: * Experience architecting high-scale, production-ready fintech solutions * Knowledge of multi-marketplace or super-app architectures * Familiarity with animation-heavy, interactive UI architectures and mobile frontend technologies * Certifications in Azure AI or Azure Solutions Architect
Responsibilities: * Lead the overall system architecture for an AI-integrated, multi-marketplace fintech application * Serve as the technical bridge between the AI-driven design team, the frontend, and backend engineering teams * Architect Voice AI features and conversational interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend services * Ensure all solutions meet fintech compliance, security standards, and scalability requirements for 150M+ users * Lead architectural discussions with stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across different vendors * Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and approaches for potential adoption * Participate in capacity planning and contribute to a realistic timeline setting for the project deadline
