Join us to build the future of digital health. ABOUT VACANCY: We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to build and lead our quality assurance function on the Medblu telemedicine platform. This is a strategic role responsible for designing and implementing QA processes, leveraging AI to improve testing efficiency, mentoring the team, and ensuring clinical-grade quality across our healthcare application.
You will own the QA strategy for appointment management, medical document storage, AI-assisted diagnosis, telemedicine chat, and integration with healthcare systems. Responsibilities: Process Design & Implementation: * Design and implement end-to-end QA processes (from requirement to production release) * Establish quality gates, test strategies, and testing standards * Create test management framework using Qase.io or similar tools * Implement shift-left testing practices and quality metrics * Document and continuously improve QA workflows
AI-Driven Quality Improvement: * Evaluate and implement AI tools to increase testing efficiency (test generation, bug prediction, test analytics) * Develop metrics to measure AI tool effectiveness (defect detection rate, time savings, ROI) * Create optimization roadmap based on ROI analysis * Train team on AI-powered testing methodologies * Demonstrate efficiency gains through data and measurable KPIs
Team Leadership & Mentorship: * Lead and mentor QA team members * Develop QA engineer capability and career growth paths * Conduct code/test case reviews * Share best practices and conduct training sessions
Quality Strategy & Compliance: * Collaborate with Product Owner, Tech Lead, and developers on quality standards * Conduct risk analysis and define test scope * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (PIPEDA, GDPR, HIPAA) * Manage test management tools and testing workflows
Metrics & Reporting: * Establish and track quality KPIs (defect density, escape rate, coverage, cycle time) * Provide regular quality reports to leadership * Identify and implement process improvements based on data
Requirements: Must Have: * 5+ years of commercial QA experience (web/mobile applications) * 2+ years of team leadership or mentorship experience * Proven experience designing and implementing QA processes from scratch (test frameworks, test case management, quality gates, automation pipelines) * Experience in healthcare/medical applications or regulatory environments (HIPAA, GDPR, PIPEDA) * Strong experience in functional and regression testing * SQL knowledge for database verification and validation * Confident use of browser DevTools and network analysis * Experience with test management systems (Qase.io, TestRail, or similar) * Experience with BrowserStack for cross-browser testing * Strong test case design and test planning skills * Demonstrated ability to improve testing efficiency using AI tools (with metrics: speed increase, coverage improvement, cost reduction) * English language level B2+
Nice To Have: * Portfolio or case studies showing AI-driven QA improvements with before/after metrics (e.g., “Reduced test creation time by 40% using AI test generation”, “Improved defect detection by 25% with AI-powered test analysis”) * Experience with shift-left testing and quality metrics * Knowledge of CI/CD integration and test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) * API testing experience (Postman) * Experience mentoring junior/middle QA engineers * Background in risk-based testing * Familiarity with health data systems and compliance documentation
