About the role:
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on a project that provides millions of global users with a one-stop solution for trading and investing. The platform is a Fintech leader focused on social trading, machine-learning-powered products, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and award-winning trading and investing experiences.
Responsibilities: * The company is currently seeking an ambitious SRE Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing R&D team * Development of features, tools, and observability infrastructure * Work collaboratively with professional developers, software architects, and SRE in a fast-paced agile environment
Requirements: * 1–2 years of experience in software development * Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (C# or Java) * In-depth understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog, Grafana) * Experience with Kubernetes, IaC, and configuration management tools * Experience with Cloud providers: AWS, Azure (preferred), or GCP * Excellent understanding of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Python, Bash) * Experience with integration tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins) * Experience in developing REST services and API automation for REST services * Good understanding of middleware technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and MSMQ
Desirable: * Experience working with mobile applications * Practical experience in database applications (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB) * Experience with Unit Testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, JUnit, TestNG) * Knowledge of operating systems and networking
Personal skills: * Fast learner * An eye for detail, strong logic, and analytical skills * Ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and solid sense for setting priorities * A persistent focus on delivery in a high-velocity and high-availability environment * Self-managed and flexible to changes * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive approach to difficulties, and an imaginative problem-solver * Strong spoken and written English
