Their mission is to modernize and accelerate the process of bringing new therapeutic solutions to patients around the world. They are building a cloud-based SaaS collaboration platform that transforms how life sciences companies and global health authorities interact: ensuring safer, faster, and more efficient delivery of treatments to market. Project Description The team is developing a secure and scalable SaaS solution that supports collaboration, analytics, and compliance for the life sciences industry. The platform is hosted in Azure and adheres to cloud-first development practices. The QA Automation Team is responsible for testing both front-end (React.js web application) and back-end (REST/GraphQL APIs) systems, with a strong focus on automated testing. What You’ll Do * Design and implement automated test cases for UI, APIs, and system components using Playwright and TypeScript; * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, DevOps, product managers) to ensure comprehensive test coverage; * Conduct manual testing where automation does not yet exist; * Participate in acceptance testing of third-party components integrated into the platform; * Continuously improve and scale the test automation framework; * Estimate test efforts and proactively identify gaps in coverage; * Document and maintain test procedures, guidelines, and results; * Stay updated with modern QA automation tools and share knowledge with the team.
Job Requirements * 5+ years of experience in test automation, specifically for SaaS solutions; * Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript; * Solid experience with Playwright or similar testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Mabl); * Experience in manual testing and strong understanding of QA processes and best practices; * Experience testing front-end web applications and back-end APIs (REST & GraphQL); * Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and CI/CD processes; * Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset and ability to build trust, negotiate, and collaborate across distributed teams; * English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
Nice To Have * Experience with Java or Kotlin; * Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GxP, FDA CFR Part 11, SOC 2); * Experience with SQL and database testing; * Knowledge of performance testing tools or practices.
