We’re looking for a Engineering Manager to drive the day-to-day execution of multiple engineering squads. Responsibilities * Lead the execution of technical solutions across multiple squads, translating architectural designs into clear epics, backlog items, and task ownership * Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-team delivery milestones * Act as the first line of delivery and technical direction for less senior engineers, in close partnership with engineering managers and team leads * Proactively remove blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with architectural and product goals * Champion lean delivery principles, including cycle-based planning, appetite-driven scoping, and shaping work upfront (e.g., Shape Up methodology) * Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting when necessary to support high-quality implementation * Contribute to broad, holistic delivery considerations that span both functional and non-functional requirements
✅ Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or delivery management role * Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as React, Node.js, and AWS * Knowledge of Java is a plus but not required * Strong technical foundation and ability to engage with engineers on architecture, design, and implementation * Demonstrated success managing software delivery across multiple teams or squads * Deep familiarity with lean and iterative software delivery practices; direct experience with Shape Up or similar methodologies is a strong plus * Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
