About the Project: Our client is a U.S.-based leader in the financial technology sector, delivering solutions that support digital payment processing at a global scale. The platform handles high volumes of transactions and provides integrated services, including point-of-sale functionality, API-based payment solutions, risk and fraud management, and business analytics.
We are looking for an experienced AQA Lead to head up a new automation team. You will take ownership of the test automation strategy and guide a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, testable solutions. This role involves close collaboration with the back-end development team and U.S.-based business stakeholders.
Requirements: — 5+ years of experience in web UI test automation using C#; — At least 2 years of hands-on leadership experience in an AQA Lead role, managing teams of 3+ engineers; — Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright/Selenium; — Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests; — Basic to intermediate skills in Python; — Working knowledge of Cypress is a plus; — English: Upper-Intermediate (team communication is fully in English).
Responsibilities: — Drive the transition from legacy Python-based tests to a robust C# automation framework using Playwright/Selenium; — Lead and mentor an AQA team (3-4 team members), providing technical direction and performance feedback; — Design, implement, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks; — Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria; — Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain test quality across the release pipeline; — Represent QA in discussions with U.S.-based stakeholders, communicating risks, blockers, and improvements; — Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
