We are looking for a PHP / Laravel Engineer to join our cutting-edge development team as it grows. The ideal candidate is a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills, is able to understand the business logic behind the technology, and must be comfortable working in an agile environment where things move at a fast pace.
Responsibilities * Develop and maintain features using Laravel within a modular monolith architecture * Contribute in architecture and system design improvements * Drive and support the migration to microservices * Work with Vue.js (v2) on the frontend for dynamic and interactive UIs * Use queues and Socket.IO to implement real-time and asynchronous functionality * Write clean, maintainable, and testable code * Deploy and debug applications in DigitalOcean and Kubernetes * Interact with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, and optimization
Requirements * 4+ years of PHP development experience, with a strong focus on Laravel * Experience in modular monolith architectures and transitioning to microservices * Good understanding of system design principles and best practices !!!!! * Proficiency with Vue.js 2 * Hands-on experience with queues (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ) and Socket.IO * Solid experience with PostgreSQL * Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes commands * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have * Experience with event-driven architecture * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines * Exposure to DevOps and infrastructure as code
