We’re looking for a motivated QA Manual Engineer with at least 1 year of commercial experience to join our WordPress team. You’ll be testing fast, lightweight, and scalable websites built with custom WordPress themes — no page builders, no plugin clutter.
This role is perfect for someone who already has experience in manual testing and is ready to take more responsibility — helping structure the QA process, create test documentation, and ensure every website meets performance, SEO, and usability standards.
You’ll work closely with developers and designers from the early stages of each project, providing input, asking the right questions, and making sure nothing gets missed.
Responsibilities: * Participateinbuildingthe QA processforcustomWordPressprojects * Createandexecutetestcases, checklists, andbugreportsfor UI andfunctionaltesting * Test website layout and responsiveness across modern browsers and devices * Help verify performance optimizations (WPEngine PageSpeed Boost, Cloudflare setup) * Check SEO and structured data implementation using tools like SEMrush, Google PageSpeed Insights, and Schema validators * Verifymarketingandanalyticsscriptsaddedthrough Google Tag Manager * Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes * Providefeedbackonusability, bugs, andinconsistenciesduringthedevelopmentcycle * Maintainbasictestdocumentationandsuggestimprovementsin QA workflow
Requirements: * 1+ year of experience in manual web testing * Understandingofdifferenttestingtypes: functional, regression, UI/UX, responsive, performance, SEO * FamiliaritywithtestingWordPresswebsites (customthemesorplugin-based) * Experience working with browser DevTools, Chrome extensions for testing, basic debugging * Basic understanding of how modern websites are structured (HTML, CSS, responsiveness) * Accuracy, attentiontodetail, andwillingnesstoaskclarifyingquestions * Intermediate English orhigher (youcanreadandwritedocumentation, testcases, andbugreports, communicateverbally)
Nice to Have: * Experience working with tools like Google Tag Manager, RankMath, or Gravity Forms * FamiliaritywithSEMrush, PageSpeedInsights, orsimilar SEO/performancetools * Basic knowledge of version control tools like Git * Experience participating in Agile or Kanban-style teams
