About the Role We’re looking for our first Content Manager — someone who can join at an early stage, build the content function from scratch, and own it end-to-end. You’ll combine content strategy, user psychology, research, and hands-on execution. You won’t just write — you’ll design how content works across the entire user journey: from web funnels and onboarding to in-product experiences, personalized programs, and retention initiatives. This is a builder role. If you enjoy turning ambiguity into clear systems and want your work to directly influence product and business metrics, you’ll thrive here. What You’ll Do Content Strategy & Ownership * Develop and maintain the content strategy across web funnels, onboarding, emails, in-product content, and retention initiatives. * Build a scalable content architecture: topics, formats, structure, cadence, and tone of voice. * Define how content supports key product metrics, including activation, engagement, retention, and subscription renewal. * Help define the content scope for the MVP and contribute to the future product roadmap. * Turn audience, market, and competitor research into actionable content hypotheses.
Content Production * Research, create, and edit high-quality, evidence-based content for an English-speaking audience. * Create personalized content that speaks directly to different user needs, motivations, and stages of the journey. * Develop and maintain a clear editorial voice that is engaging, trustworthy, empowering, and human. * Create content requirements and briefs for different product experiences and formats. * Develop video content formats, concepts, scripts, and production briefs. * Plan and coordinate content shoots from concept and pre-production to final delivery.
Vendor & Production Management * Build and coordinate a network of external specialists, including subject-matter experts, editors, reviewers, localizers, designers, creators, and video production vendors. * Own the full content production pipeline: research, briefing, creation, review, QA, localization, and publishing. * Set up scalable workflows that allow content production to grow without sacrificing quality. * Maintain content documentation, guidelines, templates, and quality standards.
Technical & Operational Execution * Publish and manage content across relevant platforms and admin tools. * Work with AI tools to accelerate content creation without sacrificing quality or personalization. * Collaborate with the specialists involved in growth and product to support paid marketing creatives and funnel copy.
Analytics & Optimization * Track content performance and connect it to business outcomes, including CTR, conversion, activation, engagement, and retention. * Run A/B tests on messaging, formats, sequences, and content units. * Build a feedback loop between content performance and strategy.
What We’re Looking For * 3+ years of hands-on content management experience, ideally in a consumer-facing digital product or startup. * Proven experience creating content for English-speaking audiences — C1+ written English is a hard requirement. * Experience building or owning a content strategy from the ground up * Strong understanding of user psychology and personalization — you know how to write for different user states, not just different segments. * Hands-on experience producing video content and organizing shoots, from concept and scripting to production and final delivery. * Confidence working with admin panels, content management systems, builders, and other content tools. * Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar as part of a regular content workflow. * Strong methodological thinking — you build content systems, not just content pieces, and create frameworks others can follow and scale.
Also Nice to Have * Experience working with subscription-based products. * Experience launching an MVP or building a content function in a zero-to-one project. * Basic understanding of conversion copywriting principles — you know the difference between content that informs and content that activates.
