About the project
DigitalSuits is looking for a React Native Developer to join a new project for our client, an established company from the Netherlands. The client already runs a successful business and is now expanding into mobile with an AI assistant that helps families plan and organize their leisure time.
The project is starting from scratch, so you’ll be on board from day one and help shape the product, its architecture, and its technical direction. Later, the client plans to bring the assistant to dedicated tablets, which gives the role a clear long-term roadmap beyond the first release.
What you’ll do
* Build the mobile app from the ground up, from architecture and core features to the production release.
* Use AI tools and AI agents in your daily workflow to ship production-quality code efficiently.
* Handle deployment and releases to the App Store and Google Play, and support the app in production.
* Communicate directly with the client team: clarify requirements, demo progress, and suggest solutions.
* Work closely with the rest of the team (design, backend, QA) to deliver on time and at a high standard.
* Contribute to the future tablet version of the product.
Requirements
* Solid commercial experience with React Native. At least 4 years of commercial experience.
* Mandatory hands-on experience using AI tools and AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to build production applications, not just side projects.
* A track record of taking mobile apps from zero to production.
* Experience deploying and releasing apps to production.
* Conversational English and experience working in an outstaff model with direct client communication.
* Strong teamwork skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
* Experience building AI-powered features in mobile apps (LLM integrations, chat or voice assistant interfaces).
* Experience with tablet-optimized layouts or apps running on dedicated devices.
* Strong TypeScript skills.
