Role Overview Our client is a highly successful technology company valued at over $1 billion, generating $300M in ARR, with its R&D center based in Israel. They are looking for a strong, product-minded engineer to take full ownership of an exciting product, from the Flutter mobile app to the Python microservices and AWS infrastructure behind it. You’ll join a proven, well-funded company at scale while keeping the ownership and impact of a startup role. You’ll lead a serious product end-to-end, work with an experienced international R&D team. Requirements * 7–9 years of professional software engineering experience. * Strong mobile app development experience with Flutter, gained at strong product companies or startups. * Strong Python backend engineering experience in production, including designing and building microservices. * Proven experience at at least one serious, strong startup. * Strong hands-on experience with AWS in general, and with AWS Lambda functions specifically. * Proven end-to-end ownership of major features and projects, from design through production. * Solid engineering best practices: clean code, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and scalable architecture. * Advanced English level (C1 or higher), with strong written and verbal communication skills. * Based in Europe and available for a long-term B2B contractor engagement.
Responsibilities * Take ownership of the product and lead its technical development end to end. * Design, build, and maintain the Flutter mobile application. * Develop and scale Python backend services and microservices running in production. * Build and operate serverless components on AWS, including Lambda functions. * Make key architecture and technology decisions, balancing speed, scalability, and reliability. * Deliver major features and projects from planning to release, and own their outcomes. * Define and uphold engineering best practices across code quality, testing, and deployment. * Collaborate closely with the R&D team and stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly.
