We’re looking for a Project Manager (Delivery & Product) to own web and web-app projects for international clients — from the first discovery call through to delivery.
Responsibilities
* Own projects end-to-end, from the first briefing to delivery — including cases where the client doesn’t yet know exactly what they need
* Turn a vague request (“build us a landing page”) into a structured vision: user flow, site/app structure, scope, and estimate
* Expand small client asks into full-scope projects based on product and technical judgment — not sales pressure
* Run discovery calls and shape requirements together with developers (BA function)
* Prepare the Head of Delivery for key strategic client meetings — context, risks, decision points
* Own day-to-day client communication independently, without constant involvement from leadership
* Track milestones, deadlines, and budgets; manage invoicing and payment follow-up with clients
* Provide transparent client reporting: status, risks, scope changes
* Coordinate developers, design, and QA within the project; maintain documentation in Jira/Linear
Requirements
* 3+ years as a PM / Delivery Manager in web development (agency or outsourcing)
* Product thinking: user stories, site/app structure, MVP scoping
* Technical background strong enough to understand architecture (CMS/headless, Next.js, JAMstack) and speak the same language as both developers and clients
* Experience working with international clients
* English level B2+/C1
* BA skills: gathering and documenting requirements
* Presales experience — comfortable expanding scope based on product/technical judgment, not just closing what’s asked
* High level of autonomy
Nice to have
* Agency experience specifically with an Upwork lead channel
* Knowledge of Payload CMS / headless commerce
