About the project: A US-based orthopedic clinical decision support platform designed to streamline patient intake and help clinicians make faster, more consistent, and evidence-based treatment decisions. The system processes clinical questionnaires, applies proprietary diagnostic logic to identify likely musculoskeletal conditions, and integrates with the Athena Health EHR while preserving existing clinical workflows.
Tech Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, React.js, Next.js, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, Auth0, AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions Talent you’ll bring into our team: * 2+ years of hands-on full-stack development * Practical knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS * Hands-on expertise with React.js and Next.js * Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM * Ability to build frontend functionality using TanStack Query and Tailwind CSS * Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts * Understanding of REST API integrations * Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code * Upper-Intermediate level of English
Nice to have: * Familiarity with Auth0, including RBAC and MFA * Familiarity with AWS * Knowledge of Docker and GitHub Actions * Understanding of audit logging, structured logging, and data encryption * Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant software development * Understanding of FHIR or Athena Health API integrations * Experience using Claude Code or Codex
Responsibilities: * Build and maintain frontend functionality using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js * Develop backend functionality using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS * Work with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM * Implement product features based on agreed requirements and designs * Support external service integrations under the guidance of the Team Lead * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code * Investigate and resolve frontend and backend issues * Participate in code reviews, testing, demos, and feedback sessions * Collaborate closely with the Team Lead, UI/UX Designer, and client stakeholders * Contribute to continuous product improvement throughout iterative development
