About the role:
As a Senior .NET Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable data solutions using C# as the primary language. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.
Responsibilities: * Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance solutions on the platform * Integrate external datasets and build robust, scalable data pipelines * Develop and maintain back-end systems using C# * Set and enforce high-quality coding standards, including source control practices using Git and branching strategies * Collaborate with global R&D and software teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery * Troubleshoot complex software, infrastructure, and automation challenges * Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and DevOps innovations * Align with project managers to track work items and ensure timely delivery of project milestones * Document technical solutions and delivery methodologies clearly and effectively
Requirements: * At least 5 years of professional experience with .NET and C#, accounting for approximately 80% of the role * Some experience with Angular or another JavaScript framework, accounting for approximately 20% of the role * Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. AWS is preferred * Experience with Kubernetes is considered a plus * Proven ability to quickly understand existing systems and code, including reverse engineering complex codebases * Strong, methodical approach to debugging and troubleshooting complex issues * Solid understanding of object oriented design principles and common design patterns * Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server * Good knowledge of RESTful services and API design * Experience with version control systems such as Git * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and take full ownership of customer issues end to end * Proven experience in developing new features, enhancements, and contributing to ongoing product development
