Project: The engagement focuses on designing and implementing a greenfield Playwright automation framework for a Salesforce-based SaaS platform, covering UI and API test layers with GitHub Actions CI/CD integration.
Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain a Playwright-based test automation framework from the ground up (UI and API layers) * Architect a scalable framework structure (page objects, fixtures, reusable utilities) suited to a Salesforce-based application * Implement API test coverage alongside UI automation * Integrate the framework into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and QA teams to define testing strategy and coverage priorities * Maintain high code quality through reviews, documentation, and best practices * Troubleshoot and resolve flaky tests, environment issues, and framework-level bugs
Requirements: * 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with a strong track record as an automation architect or SDET * Proven hands-on expertise with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) * Solid experience with API testing tools and methodologies * Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions * Experience testing Salesforce/Lightning-based applications is a strong advantage * Strong understanding of test architecture design and framework best practices (Page Object Model, reusable components, reporting) * Ability to work independently and drive a greenfield project with minimal oversight * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Upper-Intermediate English or higher * Available for a dedicated engagement with an August start * Please include a GitHub repository or code sample of a Playwright framework you’ve built with your application (a strong plus if it includes testing of a Salesforce application)
