About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and organized Middle Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of an outsourced software development project in close collaboration with our client’s in-house team. In this role, you will ensure seamless coordination between distributed teams, maintain a single source of truth across organizations, and keep project delivery transparent, predictable, and on track. You will become the primary point of contact for the client, balancing delivery excellence with strong stakeholder communication.
Type of cooperation: Remote, Full-time
Team: Project Manager; Full Stack; Designer; 2 QA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own day-to-day delivery: planning, sprint/iteration management, backlog grooming, risk and dependency tracking;
* Act as the single point of contact for the client; run status calls, demos, and weekly reporting;
* Coordinate a blended team (our engineers/designers/QA + client-side specialists): align priorities, resolve blockers, keep responsibilities and hand-offs explicit;
* Manage scope, timeline, and budget; flag deviations early with options, not just problems;
* Keep documentation and tracking clean in Jira/Confluence (or the client’s toolset): estimates, change requests, meeting notes, decision log;
* Support pre-planning activities: estimation sessions, roadmap updates, resource forecasting;
* Handle async communication properly — write clear summaries so the team wakes up unblocked.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* 2–4 years as PM/Delivery Manager on commercial software projects, ideally client-facing outsourcing;
* Practical command of Scrum/Kanban; understanding of when to bend the process and when not to;
* Experience managing distributed teams and async workflows;
* — Solid grasp of the SDLC and enough technical literacy to challenge estimates and understand trade-offs;
* Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Slack/Teams, Figma, and basic reporting/dashboards;
* Ability to work in the US time zone overlap (afternoon—evening shift);
* Confident spoken and written English (B2+) — daily calls with US stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with mixed vendor/client teams or team-augmentation models;
* Basic understanding of estimation and commercial mechanics (T&M vs. fixed price, change requests).
