We’re looking for a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to join our API Platform Team. Our client is an international SaaS company building digital solutions for the hospitality industry. Their platform helps businesses streamline daily operations, improve customer experience, and drive long-term growth.
Requirements: * 5+ years of professional software development experience. * Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel. * Solid understanding of REST API design and best practices. * Experience with data synchronization patterns, including webhooks, polling, retry mechanisms, and idempotency. * Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing database queries. * Ability to evaluate and communicate architectural trade-offs related to scalability, reliability, and maintainability. * Experience working with Git, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines. * Practical experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain partner-facing APIs and integration services. * Build and improve real-time data synchronization mechanisms. * Work with REST APIs, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous integrations. * Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. * Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve existing solutions. * Collaborate with the team through code reviews, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows. * Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Nice to have * Experience with TypeScript. * Knowledge of React and/or Next.js. * Experience with AWS and Docker. * Understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API authentication patterns. * Experience with Keycloak. * Experience with message brokers or event streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Amazon SQS.
