Our client is a Cloud Infrastructure Automation Platform that enables organizations to automate, manage, and govern their entire cloud footprint with IaC. Agile and efficient cloud practitioners use Firefly for its AI-assisted remediations, streamlined IaC orchestration, and a unified system of record for Cloud Asset Management. With Firefly, Platform and DevOps teams can simplify cloud operations while accelerating innovation and maintaining security and performance at scale.
We are looking for a talented engineer to join our client’s R&D team.
In this role, you will contribute to designing and building next-generation cloud-based solutions, tackling challenges related to performance, scalability, and availability across multi-cloud environments using the latest services and technologies.
You will also be involved in developing new features and enhancing the web application, building backend services that power complex functionality. In addition, you will help shape the team’s adoption of modern AI tooling—from coding agents to MCP-based integrations—as these capabilities become a core part of the software development process.
Key Requirements: 5+ years of production experience with Go is a must; experience with at least one other backend programming language is highly preferred. Significant experience creating and utilizing RESTful API and scalable performance systems — a must; Have hands-on experience working with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot as part of your daily workflow — a must; Experience in cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP or AzureExperience with DevOps practices and technologies such as Terraform, K8s, VCS providers and CI systems — an advantage; Experience working with relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Mongo) databases — an advantage; Experience working with message queues and event driven architecture — an advantage; Deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern system design principles — an advantage; Ability to take responsibility and work independently with a “can do” attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills; English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.
What you will do: Design, build, and own backend services end-to-end, from architecture through production operation; Drive system and infrastructure design decisions as our platform scales; Choose and apply the right data stores and search technologies to keep services fast and reliable under load; Own the operational health of your services — security, monitoring, alerting, and reporting; Partner closely with product to shape requirements into well-scoped, shippable work; Collaborate across a multidisciplinary team of backend, frontend engineers and automation engineers to ship features end-to-end;
