We are looking for Data Engineers and Data Platform Engineers who can build scalable and dependable data foundations for analytics, AI, Machine Learning, operational reporting, and product development.
About the Role:
Depending on the project, you may focus on building data pipelines and transformations or take broader ownership of a cloud data platform, including orchestration, storage, observability, governance, access control, reliability and infrastructure.
Required technologies: * 3+ years experience with Python; * 3+ years experience with SQL; * 3+ years experience with Data Engineering; * 3+ years experience with ETL; * 3+ years experience with ELT; * 3+ years experience with Data Pipelines; * 2+ years experience with Data Modeling; * 2+ years experience with Apache Airflow; * 2+ years experience with Apache Spark; * 2+ years experience with Cloud Platforms.
Responsibilities: * Design, build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines; * Develop reliable ingestion from product systems, third-party APIs, databases, event streams and business applications; * Design and implement data warehouse, data lake or lakehouse architectures; * Develop scalable ETL and ELT processes; * Create and maintain dimensional, relational and analytical data models; * Build and maintain workflow orchestration using Airflow, Dagster or comparable platforms; * Implement data quality validation, monitoring, alerting and failure recovery; * Improve data lineage, cataloguing, discoverability and access management; * Optimize pipeline performance, infrastructure consumption, query cost and storage cost; * Support Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, BI teams, AI teams and product stakeholders; * Apply CI/CD, automated testing, code review and Infrastructure as Code practices; * Participate in architecture discussions, estimations, documentation and client communication.
Requirements: * 3+ years of commercial experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering; * Strong knowledge of SQL and Python; * Experience developing production ETL or ELT pipelines; * Good understanding of data modeling, distributed processing and data warehouse concepts; * Experience with at least one workflow orchestration platform; * Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP; * Practical experience with at least one modern data warehouse or lakehouse platform; * Understanding of data quality, observability, lineage and access control; * Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and production support; * Ability to investigate data incidents and performance bottlenecks; * English level B2 or higher; * Good communication and remote collaboration skills.
