As a Software Engineer for our client’s Edgewise platform, you will join a cutting-edge AI-native development group building cloud-edge software, automation, and optimization applications that help the world’s tier-1 cellular network operators improve network performance at scale.
Responsibilities: * Work with a group of talented engineers providing innovative solutions to Cellular Networks problems * Design and implement complex algorithms * Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems * Work in an AI-native engineering environment that uses modern coding agents and spec-driven development to accelerate high-quality delivery
Requirements: * B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field * 6+ years of experience in software development with Java * Strong experience designing and implementing complex algorithms and software architectures * Experience working with microservices architecture * Experience developing large-scale data applications and advanced SQL querying * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI agents) as part of the software development lifecycle * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
Technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kubernetes, Linux, cloud platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, Vertica, large-scale data processing, network automation, and AI-assisted development workflows
Advantages: * Experience building optimization and analytics modules * Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP * Familiarity with Clean Code, SOLID, and high software engineering practices * Experience working with microservices architecture * Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks * Experience with NoSQL and relational databases * Experience working with Vertica or other column-oriented databases * Experience with Linux and Kubernetes (k8s) * Experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI coding agents — a strong advantage
