About the Company OnlyMonster is a rapidly expanding startup building an advanced management platform for companies operating on fan platforms such as OnlyFans, Fansly, and others. Our team owns automations — the backend systems that let creators and agencies run their operations hands-off. The Role You’ll build and maintain the backend services behind our automations. What sets this role apart is how you work: we expect you to ship fast and efficiently by driving AI coding tools rather than hand-writing everything. You frame the problem, point the model at the right inputs and context, own the plan, and run a rigorous final code review. The AI writes most of the code — you’re the engineer who makes sure it’s correct, fast, and production-ready.
We’re looking for someone genuinely strong with modern AI tooling — treating it as a core part of the workflow, not a side experiment — including a solid AI harness with strong automated code validation and verification built in. Responsibilities * Design, build, and maintain backend microservices for process automation * Deliver features fast using AI coding agents: scope the task, prepare inputs/context, define the plan, and review the output critically * Investigate and reverse-engineer the behaviour of private/third-party APIs * Integrate automations across the platforms and keep them reliable in production * Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability * Collaborate with the team on architecture and technical decisions
Required Expertise * Strong, hands-on AI-assisted development skills — daily use of coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to write and ship code efficiently * A robust AI harness with strong code validation/verification, so AI-generated changes are automatically checked before they land * Solid engineering judgment: able to read, review, and correct AI-generated code and catch subtle bugs * Strong Node.js / TypeScript backend background for scalable, high-load systems * Microservices design with high availability and fault tolerance * Experience with time-series/PostgreSQL workloads (TimescaleDB) * Event bus and message queue familiarity (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) * Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) * Problem-solving mindset for high-traffic systems
Requirements * 3+ years of backend engineering experience (strong middle level) * Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript proficiency * Proven experience shipping code with AI coding tools * Ukrainian language: native speaker level * Full-time, fully remote position * Global candidates considered
