Requirements: * General knowledge and understanding of: testing approaches, methods and methodologies; software development lifecycle; bug lifecycle; testing documentation such as test plans, checklists, and test cases; requirement management and bug-tracking tools * Basic knowledge of data selection operators (MySQL). * Understanding of the core principles of client-server architecture * Ability to work in a multitasking environment * Being a team player, attentive to details, goal-oriented, and able to learn quickly * English proficiency (written) — B1/Intermediate or higher
Will be an advantage: * Higher technical education * Experience in software testing (web applications) * Experience working with Agile/Scrum development processes * Experience with bug-tracking systems (JIRA, etc.) and Postman * Understanding of what HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and REST are and how they work
Responsibilities: * Analyzing and testing requirements * Testing the product according to the requirements * Writing and updating test documentation (test cases, checklists, etc.) * Working with a bug-tracking system (JIRA) and a test management system (Zephyr) * Working with the database, including writing medium-complexity queries (MySQL) * Communicating with different departments to gather additional product requirement
