Role Overview
We are looking for a Middle or Senior AI Recruiter to help us scale our diverse, global team. In this role, you’ll use AI tools to source, engage, and evaluate both technical (e.g., software engineers, data scientists) and non-technical (e.g., product managers, designers, operations) candidates. This role runs on an AI-driven recruitment process: you’ll use Claude to validate job descriptions, screen and match candidates against requirements, and analyse interviews — directing the process and making informed calls rather than manually reading every CV. You’ll need enough technical literacy to distinguish between roles (frontend, backend, fullstack) and seniority levels (junior, middle, senior) so you can assess candidates accurately. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers across regions to ensure fast, high-quality hires.
Key Responsibilities * End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process across Windmill’s global teams, prioritizing technical and non-technical positions alike. * AI-Assisted Sourcing: Use AI tools (Claude in particular) as your primary working method, alongside ATS/CRM platforms, to identify, assess, and engage talent faster and more efficiently. * AI-Driven Hiring Process: Run our AI-driven process end to end: validate job descriptions, screen and match CVs against requirements before passing candidates forward, conduct structured interviews (covering both culture/problem-solving fit and the candidate’s proficiency with AI tools), and produce a clear evaluation report for every candidate. * Collaborate Globally: Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and build pipelines across our hiring locations (Ukraine, Poland, the UK, Portugal, Switzerland, and India), including Ukrainian candidates based anywhere in Europe. * Role Understanding: Accurately translate diverse role requirements (from backend devs to UX researchers, across seniority levels) into actionable candidate profiles. * Data-Driven Hiring: Maintain and analyze metrics to continuously improve hiring strategies and candidate experiences. * Employer Brand Support: Help amplify our brand across Ukrainian and global talent markets through outreach and candidate engagement strategies.
What We’re Looking For * 2–5+ years of recruitment experience (tech and/or non-tech), preferably in a digital product or tech services environment. * A working understanding of software development roles and seniority levels — you don’t need to code, but you should know what separates a frontend, backend, and fullstack developer, and a middle from a senior. * Comfortable using AI tools (Claude in particular) as a primary working method — this is core to the role, not a nice-to-have — along with hands-on experience with ATS/CRM platforms (e.g. Keka, LinkedIn Recruiter). * Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken). * Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple roles at once.
Nice to Have * Understanding of design and software development roles (bonus if you’ve worked in or recruited for a digital agency). * Experience sourcing for global teams or managing international hiring processes. * Familiarity with GDPR and best practices in candidate data management.
