We are looking for a Python Engineer to join Helpware’s internal AI team and contribute to the development of innovative AI-powered products and automation solutions. You will work on proprietary platforms, LLM integrations, and scalable backend services while collaborating with product, engineering, and AI teams.
Key responsibilities: * Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI * Build AI-powered applications and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), including Google Gemini * Design and implement scalable APIs, asynchronous workflows, and background task processing * Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern ORM technologies * Collaborate with frontend engineers on full-stack features using TypeScript and React * Deploy and maintain applications using Docker and AWS services * Contribute to internal AI products and help shape engineering best practices
Requirements: * Strong commercial experience with Python 3 * Experience with FastAPI and building REST APIs * Solid understanding of async programming and background task processing * Experience with SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL * Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Google Gemini or similar) * Experience with Docker and Git * English level: B2+
Nice to have: * Experience with TypeScript and React * Familiarity with Redis, Celery, or similar task queue systems * Experience with AWS services (S3, SES, EC2) * Knowledge of TanStack, Drizzle ORM, or AI development tools such as Claude Code
