We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to help us build and manage a mature finance function in an international company with legal entities in Canada, the US, and Europe. We need someone who can not only manage day-to-day finance operations, but also build processes, bring structure to reporting, work across multiple jurisdictions, and act as a reliable finance partner for the leadership team. Location: Ukraine, fully remote. We are also ready to consider Ukrainians who relocated to Europe.
Key responsibilities: • Manage and oversee finance processes across multiple legal entities in Canada, the US, and Europe. • Prepare and maintain management reporting, cash flow, P&L, budgets, and forecasts. • Control payments, invoices, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. • Work in QuickBooks and ensure financial data is accurate and up to date. • Coordinate with accountants, tax advisors, and external providers in different countries. • Prepare financial information and reports for the leadership team. • Build, document, and improve finance processes. • Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and controls. • Support the company as it scales and develops its international structure.
Requirements: • Experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, or in a similar role. • Practical experience working with legal entities in Canada, the US, and Europe. • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks. • Understanding of international finance processes, accounting logic, and basic tax considerations across different jurisdictions. • Experience building or improving finance processes in a company. • Strong skills in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. • English level B2+ or higher. • Strong attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently. • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, accountants, consultants, and external partners.
Nice to have: • Experience in IT, consulting, or an international services company. • Experience working with multiple currencies. • Experience automating financial reporting or integrating finance tools. • Experience supporting audits or preparing financial packages for external advisors.
