We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer who is passionate about software quality and enjoys working with modern AI-powered development environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, usability, and performance of web and mobile applications across a variety of domains and products.
Responsibilities * Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, non-functional and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications. * Identify, investigate, and document software defects, analyze logs and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. * Work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure smooth communication and shared understanding of quality goals. * Create and maintain test documentation: test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports. * Analyze requirements, identify testing scope and risks, and propose solutions. * Actively leverage AI tools in your daily QA workflow — for test case generation, log analysis, documentation, or exploratory testing support. * Participate in release validation and quality assurance activities throughout the development lifecycle. * Contribute to improving testing processes and QA best practices.
Requirements * 1+ years of commercial experience in software testing (web, mobile applications). * AI-native mindset: you actively use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to work faster and smarter — this is not optional, it’s part of how we work. * Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, non-functional and exploratory testing. * Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. * Experience creating test documentation and reporting defects. * Experience with testing and debugging tools such as Postman, TestRail, Charles, browser developer tools, or similar. * Solid understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and system interactions. * Ability to analyze product requirements, identify risks, and propose solutions. * As an attention-to-detail check, for the cover letter, please include the word “khlib” if you are a human. Nice to Have * Experience with API testing. * Good practical experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL). * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). * Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools. * Technical education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
