We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a strong product mindset to join our team for long-term collaboration.
You’ll join an agency team working with a large electronics manufacturer on rapid prototyping and POC development. The team validates new ideas and turns high-level business requests into working concepts and technical solutions. You’ll act as a product-minded lead who keeps the team aligned on value and outcomes, not just output.
Scope of tasks and ownership: * Own discovery: intake requests, dig into the underlying business problem, and challenge assumptions before scope is set. Define the goal, success criteria, and what “done” actually means for the business * Shape and oversee scope across the lifecycle — guard against scope creep, make trade-off calls, and keep solutions tied to business value * Drive prioritization: work with stakeholders to decide what ships next based on impact, effort, and dependencies — and be ready to defend those calls * Translate requests into user stories with acceptance criteria, business rules, and edge cases — clear enough for the team to execute without back-and-forth * Analyze current behavior and impact (users/roles, data, reports, integrations) and propose practical, value-driven solutions * Run refinements and align scope with the development team; keep the backlog healthy (no duplicates, right-sized items, clear dependencies, items meeting Definition of Ready) * Document and maintain key artifacts in Confluence: process flows, rules/definitions, decision logs, change notes * Drive internal initiatives: map processes, surface bottlenecks, and lead optimization changes * Be the bridge between stakeholders and the team — communicate product vision, facilitate meetings, and keep everyone pointed at the same goal
What You’ll Need: * 3+ years as a Business Analyst in IT, with experience owning features or initiatives beyond requirements writing * Product mindset: you think in terms of outcomes, user value, and trade-offs — not just delivering tickets * Familiarity with the agentic AI landscape — its capabilities, common patterns, and product-side best practices and limitations * Ability to break down vague input into clear scope, priorities, assumptions, and constraints * Hands-on experience writing user stories + clear AC (Gherkin or structured) for development execution * Practical skills in business process analysis/optimization * Solid understanding of Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, and the full SDLC * Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills * Attention to details, problem-solving skills, and ability to work without supervision * Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English
Our benefits: * No micromanagement * Freedom to engage in decision-making and implementation * Ability to work in a team of professionals (the ratio of middle and above specialists 80/20) * Participation in the development of high-quality products * Direct communication with clients on a partnership level * Professional development opportunities ($600 education budget, well-managed processes, communities, internal library) * Health insurance * $600 extra for health care, sports, or mental health * Accounting services * 20 paid working days off and 10 days sick leave * Opportunity to work remotely
