We are now seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Java Engineer to join the team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a scalable, unified platform to handle data ingestion, enrichment, and delivery across multiple internal systems. The platform will ensure consistency, reliability, and observability of data pipelines serving analytical and operational workloads.
This project will serve as the foundation for multiple data-driven initiatives across products, enhancing internal data capabilities and time-to-insight.

Team setup: Team Lead, 6 BE, 2 FE, 1 SDET. Reporting: all engineers report to EM.
Work Environment: Flexible schedule with mandatory attendance for core team ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retros, and sprint planning). The environment emphasizes autonomy, deep technical ownership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a qualified expert You will * Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services for data ingestion and transformation * Implement orchestration and automation of data pipelines (streaming and batch) * Develop REST/gRPC APIs for unified access to enriched datasets * Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to define requirements and deliver solutions * Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration * Ensure high standards for security, performance, and reliability
We’re looking for you if you have Core Skills * Strong proficiency in Java (17+) for backend and data services * Experience with streaming and batch processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, etc.) * Solid SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases * Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP environments * Strong understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and API design
