We are looking for a highly experienced AI/ML expert to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on technical consulting, solution architecture, and supporting the delivery of complex AI initiatives across international markets.
You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, participate in pre-sales activities, design scalable AI solutions, and support implementation from concept through to production.
The role is fully remote, offers a flexible workload, and is compensated on an hourly basis.
Requirements * Over 5 years of professional experience developing production-grade AI/ML and Data systems * Proven technical leadership experience as Staff / Principal Engineer or Software Architect * Proficient in Python programming and its ecosystem, particularly for web, AI/ML and data engineering * Hands-on experience with Deep Learning (NLP, Computer Vision, etc.) and popular frameworks such as PyTorch. * Deep expertise in LLMs: open/closed-source models, advanced prompt engineering techniques, RAG, Agentic AI, document processing, vector/hybrid search, guardrails, observability & monitoring, LLM fine-tuning and evaluation metrics. * Practical experience with vector databases and AI infrastructure technologies such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, or pgvector. * Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure), related ML platforms (e.g. Vertex AI) and MLOps best practices * Experience in delivering complex AI/ML projects or programs from POC to production with continuous improvements and support * Practical experience in modern end-to-end projects beyond AI/ML — frontend, backend, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring and observability. * Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. * Experience in defining and setting up the project SDLC * Deep domain knowledge in at least one of the following processes: ITSM, SDLC and Business Process Automation. * Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead discussions with clients and other teams * Proficiency in leveraging AI tools across all aspects of work including UX design, solution architecture, market research, coding to enhance productivity and innovation (we provide licenses for any necessary AI tools such as Anthropic Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and others) * High level of English proficiency (Advanced / Fluent, C1—C2)
Responsibilities * Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions as a technical AI consultant, leading discussions around AI/ML architecture, feasibility assessment, solution design, and implementation strategy. * Analyze customer business processes, operational pain points, and enterprise IT landscapes to identify opportunities for applying AI solutions across ITSM, SDLC, business process automation, and related domains. * Formalize and prepare all technical artifacts required during pre-sales and delivery engagements, including solution architecture diagrams, AI/ML system designs, technical proposals, implementation roadmaps, technical questionnaires, integration schemes, and infrastructure recommendations. * Design scalable enterprise AI architectures leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, Agentic AI patterns, vector databases, document processing frameworks, observability layers, and cloud-native AI services. * Work closely with the internal development team throughout the full SDLC lifecycle, providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, code review support, and implementation oversight during development of AI solutions. * Participate in technical decision-making related to backend architecture, model orchestration, prompt engineering strategies, MLOps pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, security, and production deployment approaches. * Support end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives from proof-of-concept through production rollout, stabilization, optimization, and continuous improvement phases.
